Sip bottle
Finally, Lia is drinking from a straw!
Lia had started drinking (water) from a mini Tupperware cup since she was like 8, 9 months old and despite our few attempts to introduce sippy cups to her, she just couldn't get to it. James bought her this sip bottle sometime ago and back then, Lia was only interested in chewing at the straw.
She must have been observing us drinking from a straw and had somehow learnt the technique. You see, we were at Macdonalds and Lia was fussing over her porridge. She wanted something else and me almost at my wits' end, I held out my iced milo to her, and, she took a sip. A real sip. She frowned a little as she had not expect milo and wasn't accustomed to the coldness, but that was a great deal and the little one promptly asked for more; which she did not get. James then suggested we bring this sip bottle out for her to try again.
And it was a success!
She wouldn't let go of it and she wouldn't even let us touch it! She loved it so much that she brought it to bed and later dozed off with it! Upon seeing that she had dozed off, I quietly took the sip bottle away, but this little one has got a powerful radar to tell her that her sip bottle's gone and she awoke, and started looking for it. She crawled over to me sleepily, and I feigned ignorance of course. Luckily, she found her bolster instead and went back to sleep clinging on to it.
(Poor Piglet, she gets steped on when her master have had a new toy)

wah good leh, meia still drinking from bottle now... i already bot the training cup, but always forget to use... ahhh muz take out n wash.
Yes, mus take out and wash liao... The sooner u start, the sooner they'd master it... :D
Lia's the other way round, cup first, then straw!
