Lunch reception - James' extended family
Today was a a fun-filled day for us! We had a lunch reception with James' extended family members at the AquaMarine restaurant. The name list totalled to 190 persons and my mother-in-law estimated that close to 180 of us attended!
James didn't like the food and ate very little, poor man, nothing seemed to suit his taste. However, I was fine with the food, heehee, I am greedy also lah.
Play time for Lia and her wonderful cousins! We didn't stop her today for we knew she's in good hands, thus she played to the fullest - yippee!
Lia did not eat much for lunch, she was too busy watching everyone else and just couldn't eat. Luckily, I brought her milk. Here's Lia having milk with one of her favourite cousin; they used the same type of cup (just different colour) and drank the same type of milk! And both were breastfed babies and they both proceeded straight to using a cup, no milk bottles! ;D
There's got to be a photo shoot. Seated around the table are our elders. Every family took turns to stand in for a photo with them.
Then, they tried to gather all the kids for a photo. But oops, everyone was too scattered and it didn't turn out well..
There was just too much people, we had to have name tags. There's even colour coding in view of our ranks.
Door gift for the adults - James' and mine.
Door gift for the kids - Lia's.
After that, we adjourned Marina Square, and then to Changi Airport, T3. It was our first visit!
We were still full from our lunch and left without eating our dinner there - big mistake, because we then went to Changi Village to grab a bite and the hawker centre was so hot and stuffy! No pictures taken there; it was strictly eat and go, haha! I told James that we should go back there someday, sans Lia, for the bbq seafod smelt great, but of course we had to dress down to beat the heat!
