For my nails this CNY

I have decided not to go for my CNY mani and pedi @ PINC this year. Doing away with all the hustle and bustle, James and I we have decided to keep things simple. I will still paint my nails, DIY that is, and I've bought the necessary stuff early.

I chanced upon Face Shop's nail polishes and was a little shocked that it cost just S$2.90, well, I had expected like S$7.90 or S$9.90 kind of prices initially. I chose a reddish-purple nail colour; it wasn't as dark as it seemed in the picture, let's see if I'll remember to take a picture after I get it on. :) Sally Hansen was having a 20% discount at Watsons, and you get a free bottle of 'Xtreme Wear' nail polish when you purchase two of their products, which I did. I got the 'Ultimate Shield' fortifying base and top coat (a base coat is very important to prevent staining!) at S$10.80, and a tube of hands & nails & cuticles cream (whoa, 3-in-1 moisturising!) at S$12.40.



There wasn't much choice of colours for the free nail polish and I made do with this...
