Our evening activities for today
Little manicurist at work (on her papa's foot!)
After her evening shower, we sat down for study time... I've recently started Lia on writing (with a proper pencil and workbook) and this is her second attempt on drawing lines. (Those messy colour pencil and crayon scribbling doesn't count)
Used this Kumon workbook ($10.40-10%) and I liked its good quality. The papers are nice and smooth, every page is clean (not like some which looked like they were being photocopied countless times) and the workbook is reasonably thick and sturdy too. I actually contemplated for a while (because of its price) and it was James whom nudged me to buy it. Can save the time and ink on printing lah, he said. That's true, I may not even find suitable pictures and contents too.
A new activity, paper cutting.
A little pair of scissors, some coloured paper and a box for the confetti. Parent guidance needed though. Lia could not manage the scissors like we adults do for it is stiff-still very new, but at the same time it trains her pincer grip too.

Look at how attentive Lia has shown in her pincer grip. Good try!! Kumon's book seemed good huh. can see the quality there. And i think also the colorful pics that attract children in doing it. Oh children at this age just love colorful pics.
Which popular you went to grab those nice chinese puzzles? Over at my place, I couldn't find a good one tho'. Thanks!
Hi Jean,
Yes, the kumon workbook has nice and colourful pages; does entice Lia to work on it! And the puzzles are from the Popular @ Jurong East MRT. ;p
