Baby mittens and bootees

I was worrying over the lack of baby mittens and bootees. Lia's had turned yellow and most of them were thrown out by me. The hand-me-downs from my sister-in-law doesn't seem enough and I was set on going out to buy more of it. It was until we attended a full month party recently, and we came to know that one of the couples (James' friends) had packed a bagful of baby clothes for us! I sorted them out with delight, and now, Baby Zann will have enough mittens and bootees to last!

Reen,
Yes, it's been quite long and most of the clothes have turned yellowish! My hubb did bleach some of them and I put them in several washes to make sure all the bleach goes off...

Gene,

i went to ransacked the clothings and looking for mittens and booties, realised alot have turned either yellow or simply have patches of yellow left behind by my daughter fish Oil stained. She was taking orange fish oil when she is little...

anyway need to get new mittens and booties, plus some new born clothings, that's for sure :) i suddenly can't recall how much is enough for a start! hahahahaa...

I can see you have alot and good thing you can save $$!

Actually Reen, we didnt use much mittens and booties for baby zann though for Lia's time, we used a lot! I had like 6 pcs of mothercare sleepsuits dat's integrated with mittens, and my confinement aunty pretty much dressed baby zann in those, day and night. We only used a set of mittens and booties in the day when it's too hot and we dressed her in short rompers. The hand-me-down clothes from my SIL, aunty only used a few pcs, ended up we returned most of the baby clothes to the respective sources where it came from.

And when we came out of confinement, we stopped letting zann wear mittems and booties after the 1st week or so. Weather's hot and I dont see a need for them. It's better too, as zann gets to explore and soon found her fists!

I find one-piece bodysuits more convenient for daily home wear. And they look much cuter too, haha! :)
