Flea Day @ Timberlux Centre
Dee got herself a lot for the Flea Day at Timberlux Flea Market (organised by UnderGrd Movement) and asked if I wanted to join her. I jumped at the chance because I have tonnes of worn-but-still-in-an-okay-condition clothes and I am dying to sell them all!
I am all set to GO!
(I had 208 pieces of clothes to sell!)
Dee and Gilbert setting up...
Us!
Our merchandise... To the left were Dee's shoes, her clothes, followed by my clothes and then Gilbert's - couldn't see much in the picture...
There were loads of people, mostly hip and stylish youngsters, lots of lookers, but unfortunately they are not the ones whom would bother rummaging through a pile of pre-owned clothes. Here in Timberlux Centre, they are looking at unique one of a kind pieces, be it accessories or clothes, you have to really stand out in order to sell. I had a previous experience in flea market which was at tanglin mall, my customers back then were mostly philippinas. They'd happily rummage, and try on the clothes, and a few good ones would buy like 6, 7 pieces at one go.
My clothes, I reduced price to S$ 3.00 each also no business wor... :(
Dee and Gilbert made a little from their sale but I made a loss! I sold a mere few pieces of clothes and that wasn't even enough for our cab fare! -_-"
I am determined to do better, I balloted and got my next flea lot at Tanglin Mall! Hiak! Tanglin Mall, here I come! Wish me luck! ;p
