Gene, I cried with your entries...
I also can't bear to leave Ethyl alone in the CC...that's why i kept giving (lame) excuses.
Both Talia and you are so close and the bond is so deep...I know it's tough...Hang on!
What happened to James? Hope everything is fine now...btw, Ethyl had the same jacket that Talia is wearing! A very nice and comfy jacket I would say...:)
Hi Gene, I read your blog thru Fannie's. Me too, my heart goes out for lil Talia as I read on.
It must be tough for you and her. I remembered watching a show on channel 8 about starting of school, my eyes are well up with tears as I watch when a todd cried and wailed as her mum left her with her teacher.
Hang on! You hv all the support from all the mommies out here :)
Hi! Got to your blog thro' Fannie's. Some encouragement for you. You are one tough mommy, and what you had done are all the right things, if you intend to let your girl stays in the daycare. It does sound awfully heartless to let your child cries till she lost her voice, but I see that she is one tough cookie too! All the best!
Oh Fannie... Yes, it is soooo tough... I could give up 10 years of my life to get her to adapt right now.. :( I feel dat it is better to leave Ethyl with ur mom, save all the crying and seperation anxiety and all. Prob u could go for those short enrichment classes if u really wanna expose her?
James hurt his calf and ended up with a bad infection, he had a mini surgery and is recovering, thanks for asking ya!
And yes, the jacket is nice and comfy, and the hood is good as I walked Lia to school on Monday, for it was a rainy morning. ;)
Hi Jean,
Thanks for poppin by and leaving me a note! :)
Yes, it is reallyyy tough now and I hope for the skies to clear soon... Of course, I'd most gladly accept all the support rendered, for I really needed loads of it now!
Thanks once again! :)
Hi ky,
Thanks for the note, really appreciated it! Yea, my little one is rather tough and I guess it's the seperation anxiety now. I hope she'd get over it soon.. Meantime, I am crossing my fingers and am just yearning to hear more of positive remarks from her teachers!
