Fever and 羚羊
Lia has fallen ill. She woke up with a fever this morning and was lethargic and whiny. Must have gotten some virus while we were out shopping. It was good that I have some ex-stocks of the necessary medication, as her regular children's clinic operated only half a day today and would be closed tomorrow. I don't fancy her seeing another PD or GP, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.
I was at my in-laws' house for dinner when I remembered this. My father-in-law had bought me a stick of 羚羊 and it is supposedly good for dissipating heatiness! I got James to scrape some off and proceed to brew it for the night. Added some expired (oops!) cane rock sugar and managed to syringed a tiny bit down Lia's throat just now. She wasn't too happy being woke up from her sleep, but I had to do it.
Well no matter what, I do hope for a smooth night ahead.
