The Sunday after National Day...
We wore matching tee shirts (and skinny jeans/pants)! Got the tee shirts at a good deal from OP for they were offering a 43% discount on all red and white tee shirts a few days before the National Day! But you got to buy two tee shirts at least, and, I did. :D
Headed to Takashimaya first and promptly got my jar of Kwong Cheong Thye chilli paste! My supply ran out such a long time ago and I was craving for it. Tastes great with my fried noodles!
Then, it's water bottles for Lia. I wanted two, so just in case we forget to bring one back from my in-law's house, we still have one spare (not to mention those plastic water bottles I have sitting in my cabinet). Anyway, I am a little terrified of my cheap plastic bottles - gonna start chucking some out, and thought I would try a SIGG this time round. For now, I have planned the SIGG for weekend outings, and Bros, for school. SIGG cost S$ 38, (got it at the Novena Square branch) and Bros, S$9.95, from Takashimaya.
It's been a long time since we last ate dinner at Rong Ji.
As usual, it was crowded, and we waited, and waited...
The first dish that came; fish head curry! It was a ngo-fish head and was super fresh!
Hong Kong fried noodles for Lia, and claypot tofu with mixed vegetables.
I don't know if James is exaggerating, he said the face part of the fish was huge, he scooped and scooped and got all these! Haha, I wolfed them all down lor!
The fish head curry cost S$25, it was a big portion and initially, they advised that it may be too big for the two of us. But, James was confident that we could conquer it, and we did!
See!
I think the total bill came up to S$34 or S$36? and it was really satisfying!
