Happy Lunar New Year 2009!

I have to say this for a start; my baby, slept over at my parents' house last night, without us! A great start for the lunar year 2009, Lia has GROWN indeed! Since babyhood, we've (that's me and Lia together) stayed over at my parents' house a couple of times but this is the very first time she's away from me, for a whole long night! James was worried when we left my aunty's house after dinner last night, and he was quite prepared to make his way back in case Lia frets out last minute. But all was fine, no phone calls on our way home, and as we lazed around watching movies, Lia called me on my mobile. ;D It was like 10:45pm and she'd called to let me know she's back at Ah Ma's house and she has bathed and all. How sweet! She called again just this morning and first thing she told me was that she heard a lion dance troupe in the vicinity and she'd quickly closed the windows - the loud commotion always scared the wits out of her! Then, she went on to say that she's eaten her breakie and she'll go house visiting with my parents at 11am, etc. I was literally floating after our tele-conversation, I felt so pleased! ;D
