Our Valentine's Day

Nothing special this year, or rather, there wasn't anything special last year either... ;p

James decided that we'd go out for dinner, and I added on grocery shopping to save another trip... How practical huh?

Anyway, we went to Serangoon Gardens Village as I was craving for spicy barbecue sting-ray, and James had suggested Chomp Chomp food centre. But upon reaching Chomp Chomp, we found the place just too crowded for comfort and it seemed smokey, ventilation wasn't good. I was disappointed but we cannot afford the time to wait as the little one was hungry, kept tugging my top for milk while in the cab... James then suggest chicken rice, "Pow Sing" to be exact...

And so, we had chicken rice...



The chicken was nice and tender, the chilli, was nice and spicy!



They used this nice carrier for our rice...



The archar is nice too!



Fried tofu! Crispy skin on the outside, soft silken tofu on the inside! But one downside, the skin gets salty towards the end when the dish has cooled off...



Lastly, fish head curry!



It was just okay, definately not fabulous and lacking in vegetables... James claimed that the fish head wasn't fresh enough...
