Aunty Annie's birthday dinner
My last weekend pretty much revolved around food; and it was simply great because I loved food!!! ;D
First, on Saturday, it was my Aunty Annie's birthday dinner and my Cousin Luvenne (Aunty Annie's daughter) invited us all to dinner at Kippo Restaurant!
I tell you all, the food there, is delicious!
It was a very sumptuous treat and I had two bowls of rice! (Not forgetting the shou-mian too!) I loved the Bejing roast duck served with pancake, and the scallops (I loved scallops too!) were really big! (Pretty much crushed the broccoli! Heh!) Steamed fish is nice and fresh, and the cereal prawns, very fragrant! Oh gosh, my stomach is rumbling now!
Okay, enough, I am drowning in my own drool already! Those interested can go call up Kippo Restaurant for reservations now! They are located at Keppel Club, and telephone number is 6273 3398.
This, is my Aunty Annie!
We were singing her a birthday song and what she's holding on is a mini shou-tao, actually, we were all holding on to mini shou-taos! Haha!
Let's tour back to the beginning when the dinner is just starting...
Like father like daughter...
Lia the chor-lor munching on a piece of cucumber...
Lia got bored and it was quite impossible to hold her down in her high chair, the high chair doesn't come with a belt and Lia was almost crawling out of the chair! Then, I suddenly thought of an idea I got sometime back, to let the little one play with ice cubes!
After playing with it for a while, the little one tried to eat it...
Lia was having much fun with the ice cube when I accidentally spilled my glass of red wine. Some wine got onto her plate and on James' side of the table as well, it was a mess and we thus had to take Lia's plate away. Lia, she did not cry nor fuss when we did that, she must have thought the spill of red wine was her fault and she just sat looking at us wide-eyed!
We had to get new "toys" for her... What's next are my lip balm and eye drops...
Lia got bored again after a while and that was when we decided to close the partition doors (we were in a room) and let her come down and play instead...
Lia and my cousins had great fun "terrorizing" each other, while the mommy sat back and ate yet somemore of food! Hiak!
This is our group photo!
(My parents weren't present because they went for Fei Yu Ching's concert. Dee and I bought tickets for them as their birthday pressies!)
