Corn in mashed potatoes

I am cracking my brains over Lia's meals... She used to be so easy and innocent, lapping up the foods I prepared for her, and sometimes, even whining for more when the food's finished (like scrambled egg with cheese). And I was so secretly pleased for myself that my daughter, is an easy eater to raise. But now, things have changed and feeding her is a great challenge. She rejected her ABC pasta, I've even tried cooking it in cheese sauce (this little one loved cheese) but she wasn't enticed. She is still eating mee suah, but on bad-feeding-days, after being consecutively fed with mee suah, Lia will get into her moods and refuse it totally! Raisin bread, cheerios and cheese, these are the snacks on her list. Not much luck with fromage either, she just wasn't interested in it after the first few feeds.

So today, I decided to go simple...

Lunch for the little one, corn in mashed potatoes. : )

Microwaved cubed potatoes and corn, with some water for around 2 minutes. Mashed cooked potatoes and corn together, added some salt (I used sea salt) and polyunsaturated fats - think margarine, and used stock from the cooking.

It wasn't love at first bite, feeding was still slow, and she still demanded something to play with. But I am truly relieved that Lia, she did finished the bowl of mashed...
