Sentosa trip!
(Please pardon me, the super procrastinator...The rest of them have had got their entries up!)
The SLBs had an outing to Sentosa!
James had to work and I brought the little one on my own. Wenn was very nice and we went in her car! Upon reaching, we joined Melissa and Kat and family at the beach.
The rain was a spoiler. Just as we settled down on the beach, it started drizzling. Lia couldn't get enough of sand play and threw a tantrum when I prised the mini spades from her hands! I settled her into her stroller forcefully as we had to seek shelter at the Dolphin Lagoon. It was past her nap time and Lia, she dozed off within the short walking distance.
The dolphin show was cancelled due to the rain and we decided to head to the underwater world instead. I gave it a miss as Lia was napping and sat outside waiting. There were lots of tourists, mainly Indians and some Indonesian, and I noticed that some peacocks appeared, out of nowhere! Hew!
We went back for the Dolphin show as the rain has subsided. Though we went in around 5.10pm, the front rows were already taken! Kat dragged some chairs and we settled ourselves and waited. The show is nice, I could vaguely remember seeing pink dolphins before but have forgotten where and when. I was carrying Lia and busy pointing out the dolphins to her and thus, no pictures nor videos, nevertheless, check out Joyce's video here! Melissa too had a video, on the musical fountain, read her entry here! Too bad we missed it!
I left in Cin's car right after the show. Had to make our way back as I did not prepare Lia's dinner, James and I we've made plans to eat at the foodcourt where the little one can join us in our fish sliced soup... =)
Though a short trip, but my energy were drained and I had muscle aches the next day! For the next outing, I must ask James along... To share the load... -_-"
