Crying and yelling
Yesterday was a bad day for both Lia and myself. Firstly, Lia was extremely whiney and clingy, and whenever I refused a tiny request of hers, she would burst into tears and be inappeasable. As for myself, I was suffering from a bad throat and I had a muzzy head. I couldn't stand her crying so I yell for her to stop, which of course she didn't. And I am ashamed to say that this kind of drama lasted through-out the day. My neighbours must have thought some kind of child abuse was going on. I was very frustrated and I could hit my head against the wall, luckily I did not but stepped into the shower instead.
I am not sure if it was the antibiotics or Salbutamol, for Lia had rashes coming out in her body, face, arm bends, and neck. She have had rashes on her neck in the first place but it had gotten better the day before. We had gone in to KK Hopspital for a review and I remembered myself telling the A&E doctor that her rashes had gotten better. But last night, it worsen. Called her PD and the nurse said it might not be the medications for allergy reactions are usually fast and would show on the same day. She then told me to stop Lia's antibiotics for two days and monitor.
I was at my GP just now and while chatting, doc did a check on Lia's rashes. She said it sure looked like some forms of allergy and agreed that I should stop Lia's antibiotics for now. Prescribed me Cycin (antibiotics) for my throat and Chlormine to reduce the redness and itch for Lia.
James could sense the tension and took the day off. And he had taken Lia over to my in-laws' place. Ahh, the peace I needed, and I couldn't feel more grateful for this simple gesture of his.

Oh dear! There were times like these that I face too! I would have to drag my girl yell at her like nobody's business!
Gene, because both you were not well, that explains the frustrations. I was like pulling my hair even when Ethyl refused to sleep when I am already feeling "high" on my meds. Once both of you recover, everything will be back in place.
Take care!
Thanks, Fannie. You've made me feel better. My throat is getting better but Lia is still having rashes all over. I am trying my best to be patient and stop the yelling. Bad for the kid, and bad for my throat too...
