At the back of Ah Gong's lorry
Lia is pretty much familiar with lorries. My pa drives a lorry for his work, James too drove a lorry - my father-in-law's, to ferry us around. :)
She has only gone at the back of a lorry once; that was a very short trip, and last Sunday she had a chance again! We went to my grandparents' house for Father's day celebrations, my aunty Vivien sent us there and on returning, we all piled into my pa's lorry! It's usually this arrangement when I am back with my parents; pa as the driver, my mom, myself and Lia at the passenger seats, Dee at the back. But last Sunday, Lia wanted to go at the back. I didn't really fancy sitting at the back because there was some sun (I'm tan already, don't wanna go any darker mah!), and Dee agreed to take Lia with her in the end.
Here they are... Lia's hair was blowing wildly in the winds. (See, got sun...)
We stopped at the traffic lights and Lia stood up.
My pa brought us sight-seeing at old Chao Chu Kang... A couple of vegetable farms and nurseries. Lia promptly fell asleep with the breeze as the sun went down.
We were finally on our way back.. Dee shifted to a more comfortable position to accommodate the snoozing todd.
