Visit to the library, and her comfort toy to bring

I brought Lia to the library last week! She wasn't a member yet, all thanks to the lazy mommy and when I received a pamphlet from her school, I knew I had to move my butt this time round. Actually, I am enticed by the free tote bag they are giving away; you need to register your child and borrow four items on the same day to get one. And so, we went, we registered, we borrowed and we got the tote bag! It was of a decent size - A4, and quality - thick PVC, and it is great for our future trips to the library.

Lia was thrilled and went about by herself choosing storybooks and then sitting down flipping through them. It was the school holidays and the library allowed us to borrow eight books each time. I got carried away and lugged eight books home.

I was pretty amazed that there were so much great resources at the library! These books were exactly what I'd wanted for Lia. Well, the books we had at home were simple storybooks (Sunshine series) so I had long wanted Lia to explore in this area. We were talking about them all day at home; my plans to bring her to my dentist for a routine check; me always getting a sore throat and that she has to drink lots of fluid to avoid one; why she has to wash her hands so very often; and why she needs fruits for proper digestion and to make her poo-poo soft, etc. Now that we have a book to read and look into, it sure painted a clearer picture in Lia's mind.

Lia fell asleep in the bus as we made our way home. She wanted to bring her teddy bear along, and claimed that she wanna hug it should she be taking a nap when we're out. And sure she did, napped.
