Lia's 4th birthday presents!

We were early too, for Lia's fourth birthday presents! I ordered the "Sesame Street Playground" music CD (S$21) from a spree, and it features songs from Sesame Street in different languages! Being a Sesame Street fan, Lia loves the songs and we listen to them every night at bedtime. Click here to listen to sample tracks.

James, being a kid at heart bought a set of LEGO for his precious. LEGO was one of his favourite childhood toy, he claimed! We got the set from Bricks World, it contained 689 pieces in all, original price was S$109.90 and they slashed it to S$59.90! Unbelievable isn't it? I mean, their profit margin.

Look inside... Wow!

I made two little kiddos; I'd told Lia that it represents her and her favourite friend (Donn Donn) in LEGO land. *Wink*

James wanted to make a jeep... He was fiddling for a while and then left this thing aside as he went back to watching telly. I thought he was done, a very simple jeep, and I began taking photos of it.

During the commercial break, he looked at me and asked: "Why you taking picture now? I'm not done yet leh!" And so, here is the completed jeep, with head lights, driver and antennas.

We worked our way through the pile of LEGO, and managed to come up with a little town!

Following the instructions in the manual, James built two houses and that jeep on the left while I built the houses on right. Lia proved to be better than us and built this little house on stilts...

...On her own! Well, she couldn't understand the steps as illustrated in the manual, but all the better, it got her creative juices flowing! ;D
