The difference in our status
The difference in our status in Lia's heart. Me, a very stern but loved-her-like-mad mother, and James, a fun but sometimes stern and boh-chup father, yes he loved her too but, man... *Rolled-eyes* You know how they are like sometimes.
Okay, here goes.
That Monday when James and I went together to pick our baby from school, he wanted to make his appearance first and told me to wait outside the classroom. He wanted to see his little girl's reaction on seeing him, I bet he must be having some nice thoughts that Lia would run up to him and give him a good embrace. And he didn't know he was in for a disappointment for Lia, ignored him and went on prancing around the classroom! He was left standing at the door while I giggled behind his back! James then ask me to call out to Lia and then hide myself, which I did. And so, here comes the difference; Lia on hearing my voice, dropped what she was doing IMMEDIATELY, got up and started looking for me. She couldn't see me yet as I was hiding behind the shelves and when I appeared, she grinned gleefully and came trottering up to me!
James commented that it was really unfair for Lia to do that but hey, you've got to work harder then! Hiak! ;D

LOL...We did similiar tests! :D
I hid behind Hubby when we came back from work and little girl came up to him and tried looking out for me.
She didn't spot me of course, she turned her head and walked back into the house without another glance at the Daddy. I called out for her and she came running back to the door, trying to look for me. :)
Hubby walked into the house, opening his arms, but Ethyl pushed him away, stood at the door trying to look for me. Yes, I appeared...she gave me a big hug and and scooped her up and gave her a kiss...she didn't even bother to take another galce at Hubby...
Man...work harder! :) Cheers to Mommies! :D
