French toast
Lia got out of bed at around 8am this morning and said 'poo-poo' to me. I became alert and asked if she wanted to poo. She quickly took a piece of diaper and walked to the door. I put her on potty and she urinated instead, no poo. She must have mixed the two up but anyway, that is a good start.
Since we were up, we might as well wake up properly. Though I could do with several more minutes in bed, but I decided to wash up and make breakfast for the little one... French toast, came to mind. =)
My ingredients:
2 small eggs
4 pieces of raisin bread
1 teaspoon cane sugar (Supposed to be healthier, thus I use this now instead of white sugar, and I bought the organic type)
Butter for coating pan
Steps:
Trim bread's skin and cut bread into squares.
Whisk eggs with cane sugar added.
Heat up pan and add butter to lightly coat it.
When the butter has stopped sizzling; dip bread squares into egg (using a pair of chopsticks) and place it onto heated pan.
Cook till lightly browned.
I burnt the first batch, but it wasn't too bad and so, I ate them. Lia ate the better ones and she was happy indeed!
