Smashed chicken rice

I popped by SGH again today. This time, I went there just to stock up on my new favourite: Vichy's skincare! Their 20% discount is ending this Saturday (28 June 08) and I had to go back for more products. Plus, the sales assistant was really nice and patient; today, I requested for travel size samples and she gladly gave some to me, plus a limited edition lip gloss which isn't available for sale in Singapore! :)

Will talk about my new skincare tomorrow, now, let me show you one good food which I recently found in SGH.

Smashed chicken rice!

The chilli paste is very spicy! When I say very spicy, it means that my eyes and nose starts watering with every bite I take and when I finally finish my meal, I will look as if I've been crying or suffering from a case of bad runny nose! I think there's lime added into the chilli paste and some herbs, I stirred some into my rice and it sort of numbs my tongue when I took the first bite! Shiok! The chicken thigh had crispy skin and the meat was tender. Their business is good and several of us in line ordered this same dish. The chilli paste caught my heart. And I didn't really care about the fact that I have had some sore throat symptoms earlier this week. Hee!
