She eats what I eat (Spaghetti in white wine sauce)

Lia and I, we ate the same thing for lunch and dinner yesterday.

I cooked spaghetti in white wine sauce and the little girl lapped it up asking for seconds. I'd usually put aside a small portion for her second helping, and for lunch, I saved too little for Lia for she looked at her bowl longingly after she's finished her second portion. Then, the little girl pondered about in the kitchen while I wash up. I gave her some cheese and she ate 2 slices at one go.

James had to work overtime and I decided to cook spaghetti for dinner again. It is an easy one dish meal and since Lia clearly hasn't got enough of it during lunch, she'd get to eat it again. This time round, I made sure I set aside more for Lia and the little one lapped up her 2 servings! She seemed to be asking for more, but there was nothing left (I finished mine too) and as I carried her to check out the fridge, she pointed to fromage. And so, she ate fromage for dessert. We had ran out of fruits (kiwi wasn't as ripe yet) thus I could not offer any of that.

Here's what I used and the steps!

Ingredients:
Pasta - I used vermicelli, thin spaghetti
Dried raisins - soak it in water to soften
Minced pork - lightly marinate it (I used Teriyaki sauce and potato starch)
Capsicum - sliced thinly
Garlic - chopped
White onions - sliced thinly
Frozen mussels - defrost and remove from shell
Crab (flavored) sticks - chopped into small pieces
Canned button mushrooms - sliced
A handful of ice and some water - for soaking cooked spaghetti
White cooking wine, olive oil, sea salt, pepper and chopped basil (bottled herbs)

Steps:
1) Boil water in a saucepan. Add spaghetti, some olive oil and sea salt when the water boils. Continue boiling until spaghetti is cooked and has turned soft. Remove from heat and drain. After draining, soak it in iced water; this is to prevent the spaghetti from sticking together, and let it stand. (I usually let it stand until I am ready to use it later on)
2) Saute white onions and garlic in olive oil.
3) When fragrant, add in capsicum, button mushrooms and crab flavored pieces. Continue to saute till ingredients turn slightly brown.
4) Add in minced pork and mussels, if it gets too dry, add some water, mix all ingredients together, cover up and let it cook for a while. (Or when the fragrant of mussels and minced pork emits)
5) Meantime, drain spaghetti from iced water.
6) Add in drained spaghetti and raisins, sprinkle sea salt, chopped basil and pepper. Stir fry them all. If it gets too dry, again, add in some water. And lastly, add in the white cooking wine and cover up. When you see the saucepan boiling, turn off flame and serve!
