I miss blogging!
Papillio sandals!
My very first pair of Papillio sandals reached me today! All thanks to Cyn whom helped me get a slot in the bulk purchase and for delivering it to James!
School U!
Ahh... My baby now goes to school in her school U! (After alteration by my mom for the size S is far too big!)
I have finally confirmed Lia as on 01 August. But, the crying have not cease as yet and the baby is still crying at our morning separations. She'd start getting whiney as we approach the school and when we step into her classroom, she starts up, big time. She gets really worked up and would wail with all her might, it is a battle and I'd walk out the gates with a heavy heart. But today, I decided to hide outside her classroom and peep a little, for I wanted to know how long she'd cry. I am pleased with what I saw, the suitation, has gotten b*tter. =)
More teeth now!
Seeing Joyce updating Jonas' tooth chart, I realised this is something which I have neglected recently. Lia is a late teether but luckily, she'd often cuts a few teeth quite around the same time. Okay, let's start counting now. Upper both central incisors and lateral incisors out. Both first molar out. Both cuspid have just cut through recently. Lower both central incisors out. Right lateral incisor out, left cutting now. Left first molar out, I think her right first molar has cut through too, but I just can't get a good view to confirm it. So, let's make it 12 teeth for now. =)
Work... I am now a FTWM! Yes, after 18.5 months of being a SAHM, I have officially returned to work on the 01 August, which is also Lia's first day as a confirmed student in her school. Life's rather hectic for now, I travel around in buses, I pack and send our baby to and fro school, I work (for around five hours), and I cook dinner in the evenings. Lia is eating table food now and she's sure getting picky. I make it a point to cook no matter how tired I am.
A cute toddler, for now... This happened on 31 July, our last day of free-and-easy life when I brought Lia to Takashimaya for some shopping. I had decided to let her walk on her own after she'd finished trying on her shoes. She was happy indeed and went about exploring the low shelves. She saw this Piyo Piyo water bottle and got pretty engrossed with it. She pondered about, pointed the water bottle to me and said "ah-pun" (open). She then passed me her Munchkin water bottle (she had been holding on to it), and with her gentle and careful hands, the little one proceeded to take the Piyo Piyo water bottle from the shelf! Lia beamed and hugged the water bottle while she explore the other shelves. It was cute to see my baby do that and yes, I know, cute for now but terrible in the near future when she starts kicking and rolling on the ground demanding to buy it. Luckily, I managed to get her attention off the water bottle and once I got it off her hands, I promptly hid it on a higher shelf out of Lia's sight. *Phew!
New shoes! Another pair of Clarks!
This was the very pair of shoes Lia tried on in Takashimaya that day. A more feminine pair as compared to her Pumas, and she can wear this new pair sans socks!

For the school part...I will have to see how things go...We will start her trial pretty soon, and I really hope we can manage the change in her...haiz...long way to go!
Yes, Clarks! Haha! I looked at Colette and still prefered Clarks. Though more ex, but I know it'd be more durable.
Oh wow, must be having mixed feelings now right? Go on for Ethylyn's trial with a positive mindset and always trust ur motherly instincts. :)
