A new bed!
I had been eyeing this sweet little bed from Ikea and we've finally got it for our baby! Lia has been co-sleeping with us on our queen size bed and it was becoming quite a squash recently. As the little one flips a lot, she'd often wake up whining when she finds herself stuck, with minimal space between us.
We're still co-sleeping, in the same room that is, as we've placed Lia's bed just beside ours, like an adult step away. Night nursing is a little troublesome for now as I have to get up and carry the little princess over, and when she's done, I have to tuck her back in again. The air-con is really cold for Lia's bed position and thus, we added the bed canopy as a shield.

wow...that's pretty! does Lia turns alot during sleeping time?
mine does, so I don't dare put her in her bed in case she falls off.
Thanks Jean! We all loved the bed very much! ;)
Yes, Lia flips around a lot when she's sleeping, almost lik a tornado! One moment, her feet's on me, next, she'd be snuggling up sharing James' pillow, and then she'd end up sleeping in an opposite direction from us - feet at our faces!
Hv u got a bed rail for your daughter's bed?
I know what you mean, Jean! I was about to ask u the same qn too!
Ethyl flips and toss alot too...i've been looking for a bed, but also afraid that she'll roll out of her tot bed.
But it seems that Lia loves her new bed yah?
Yup fannie!
My hubby told me Lia's very happy with the bed, if the man can realised and see dat our girl's happy, she sure would be! Haha!
I later placed an adult pillow at the foot of her bed, so alongside with the bed guard, there is only a small space left, which is meant for her to get down. ;)
But, an accident stil happened, the 2nd night she woke up groggily and knock against the sides, wasnt sure how cos I was groggy too and she ended up with a light blue-black on her cheeks! -_-"
i also don't know, am still thinking whether should get her a bed. Tempted to but ... *sigh* what I'm afraid that even a bed rail is not enough for her when she stands & try to climb out cos she sleeping in another rm. Maybe I will just get mattress & let her sleep on the floor till she's older hee hee....
Oic, my hubby and I we are not ready to let Lia sleep in a seperate room yet. My hubby was saying she must first be able to open the bedroom doors so she can come get us when she needs to. Long way to go for us!
